GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Laguna Media Group received the coveted National Supplier of the Year Class 1 Award last week during the National Minority Supplier Development Council 50th Anniversary Conference & Exchange Awards Gala in New Orleans, with the award presented by NMSDC President & CEO, Ying McGuire.
Every year, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) recognizes Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic and Native American minority business enterprises for their business growth and development, operational success, support of other minority businesses, and active participation in the community. The honorees are divided into four categories, based on annual sales.
This year Laguna Media Group’s nomination in the Class I, was submitted to the National organization by the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council (DFW MSDC) and Laguna’s client, Dallas Area Rapid Transit – DART. The local Council winners were then considered for the Regional Awards, and the regional winners made the last round as nominees for the National Award.
