Laguna Media Group wins “MBE Supplier of the Year” E (Excellence) Award for the third time

The Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council (DFW MSDC) awarded Laguna Media Group the MBE Supplier of the Year at it’s annual E-Awards ceremony. This recognition is given to enterprises who provide excellent service, innovative ideas and cost-effective solutions while participating in the community in a valuable way.

Bonnie Clinton, Chairwoman of the DFWMSDC Board of Directors and CPO at Toyota said in her remarks: “Excellence is never an accident. It is the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, skillful execution and the vision to see obstacles as opportunities.”

Laguna Media Group started as Small Pond Video Productions in 2002. The founders, who provided high quality video production services for multi-million-dollar companies, decided they could bring this expertise to much smaller organizations. Hence, the original name Small Pond.

In 2008, the company became Minority Business and Women-Owned certified, with Silvana Rosero at the helm. The company started to diversify its portfolio with projects for large corporations and public entities, delivering services with the efficiency and agility of a small business. The company went through a rebranding in 2018, re-naming the business as Laguna Media Group. Today, our services include video and event production, web development, digital and social media strategy, social media management, SEM and SEO.

Laguna Media Group has created a differentiator by focusing on elevating the creative process and execution through diversity. We embrace our team’s different backgrounds, cultures and ability to speak multiple languages, to bring creative solutions to the table and add it to the richness of our client’s final product.

“We will continue to support diversity and work for our clients with excellence and with the philosophy of them being the subject matter experts. We will continue to enhance our client’s ideas, bring technology solutions to their challenges and measure and evaluate results to maintain continuous improvement.”, said Silvana Rosero, President & CEO at Laguna Media Group. “We thank our clients and the Council for their continued support and passion for championing diversity and inclusion. Every time you open the door for us, we are ready to become an extension of your team with our solutions, our perspective and the richness of our team’s experience”, Rosero concluded.
