Humans are social creatures. Even though virtuality allows us to stay in touch, people miss being face-to-face with their peers, meeting new people and just being able to live the madness of an event in the moment. This, of course, means smaller audiences and in some cases, even outdoor locations to ensure health precautions are taken.
Virtual events won’t leave
Virtual events are still the perfect opportunity to connect with people that are not in the same area, to have speakers from all over the world and offer a whole different experience. The perspective on virtual events has changed radically. Today, we don’t think of them as boring webinars with endless slideshows, or as an attempt to copy an in-person event for virtual attendees. We see it as a unique experience.
Hybrid events
The biggest advantage of this, is that people are able to choose how and from where they want to participate. Travelling is not an obstacle anymore. You can live stream the event for those watching in remote locations. But this is not the only thing you can do for your virtual audience. There are endless possibilities for you to ensure that both groups of people are living the experience at the same level and interacting with no boundaries.
